Overview
The Aloha Run is a fun and festive, Hawaiian-themed 5k/10k event. Be inspired by music from the islands and beach tunes as you run or walk the flat and scenic bayside course in San Diego or Long Beach. And thats just the beginning stick around for a luau party at the finish line with Tahitian dancers, live music, photo opportunities and much more.

What's included
The Aloha Run courses follow a scenic bayside route, filled with music and entertainment and Aloha spirit.
Race Day Schedule6:00 a.m. – Registration/packet pick-up opens7:15 a.m. – 10K starts8:00 a.m. – 5K run starts (runners only)8:15 a.m. – 5K run/walk starts (runners and walkers)8 – 11 a.m. – Tini Grey Band and surprise entertainment at the Finish Festival
Parking1) Pike Outlets Parking Structure 95 South Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802$3.00/hour. First 2 hours FREE w/ Validation (the quickest option would be from the Starbucks).2) Aquarium of the Pacific Parking Structure100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802.Free for the first 30 minutes. $3.00 for 30 minutes – 1.5 hours.$6.00 for 1.5 hours – 2.5 hours.$24 max/lost ticket.Carpool/Drop offCarpooling is a great option if you are driving long distances. The organisers highly recommend carpooling, plus it's way more fun! You can also get dropped off anywhere near the park and not have to worry about parking. Uber/LyftUber or Lyft are both great options as well. If you do not already have it on your phone, download it!
Please make sure to bring a number of options that cater for the different terrains and variable weather conditions

The Aloha Run 5k & 10k needs amazing volunteers to assist with water stations, registration, pre-race check in, stuffing goodie bags, festival area set-up & break-down, cheering the runners on, and more!All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, snacks and water, lots of smiles from the participants and a high five!Available shifts include runner packet pick-up the Saturday before the race and Sunday, race day – you can sign up for multiple shifts and we will love you for it!Questions or have a group? Can I bring my stroller? YES this is a stroller friendly race. Children under the age of 3 in a stroller do not need to register for the race. However, if you would like the child in a stroller to receive a bib, medal and Aloha hat, please contact info@beyondeventsgo.com for special stroller-registration.Can I bring my dog?YES dogs are allowed in Long BeachIs there an age limit?Nope - The Aloha Run is for all ages!Is there a time limit?Nope - take your time!What if it rains?The Aloha Run will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made.Can I switch my race distance? YES you can switch distance for a $10 fee plus any difference in registration fees. If you are transferring down in distance there is no refund. Please submit all transfer requests please e-mail: info@beyondeventsgo.com.Does everyone get a finisher medal, including the 5K finishers?YES, all participants will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.
