Cahir Half Marathon

This is a beautiful course leaving Kilbehenny, Co. Limerick on the old Dublin road with the Galtee Mountains on your left and the Knockmealdowns on your right as you approach Cahir. The race finishes in the historic and picturesque town of Cahir, Co. Tipperary at Cahir Castle. There is a 70 meters drop from the start of the race to the finish so we have a downhill half marathon. The road surface is excellent. Over the distance there are a few small climbs but no major up hill sections. Our race is a Half Marathon, 13.1 miles in length, and is certified by Jones counter and accurately measured.

There will be three water stations on route and a fourth at the finish line with fruit, goody bag and a meal at Duneske after the race.

Prize money Male & Female: 1st €300, 2nd €200, 3rd €100. Category prizes o/40, o/50, 0/60, 0/70 male & female. Lots of spot prizes also. Free family entertainment and music at the finish line.
