Canterbury Half Marathon

Overview
A popular part of the Kent sporting calendar, the Canterbury Half Marathon returns again in 2019. Organised to support Pilgrims Hospices by Nice Work, the race attracts a large Bank Holiday Monday entry to confirm its position as one of Kent's favourite half marathons.The course is challenging and covers the quiet country lanes on the outskirts of the city.
Course details
The Canterbury Half Marathon course is a lollipop shape route covering the roads on the outskirts of the City. The course has been officially measured and carries a certificate of course accuracy. The route will be clearly marked using large route arrows and directional cones, as well as being marshalled throughout. Due to sections of the route being open to traffic headphones are not permitted to be worn during the race and if you are seen wearing headphones you risk disqualification.
What's included
Merton Farm, Canterbury, Kent CT4 7BAThe Race Headquarters will be at Merton Farm on the field adjacent to the entrance of the farm. The start/finish area will be located on the road imediately outside the HQ and signs will be clearly posted to direct you.The closest railway station is Canterbury East Station however this is roughly 3 miles from the race HQ.
First AidSt John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
