Chiang Mai Marathon

Celebrating 720 years of Chiang Mai City. The Chiang Mai Marathon is considered oneof the top marathons in Thailand. Others races on the same day are the Chiang Mai Half Marathon, 10K and 3K. The marathon race on the Christmas Day in the most famous tourist attraction in the North of Thailand, Chiang Mai, the city with the unique identity, full of natural spots, historical sites, traditional art and culture, local customs and festivals. Routing is on the road is flat, no mountains. Temperature of 12-18 C

The start/finish line is located at the Tha Pae Gate, one of Chiang Mai's favourite landmarks. Runners are then directed along Suthep Road along down Canal Road. Near the Ratchaphruek Flora Festival the race then turns and heads back towards the centre of town passing the Chiang Mai Night Safari.
