City of Trees Marathon

The City Of Trees Marathon will be held in October. The race start and finish will be at Parkcenter Park, on Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Idaho 83706. The City Of Trees Marathon events are USATF certified courses, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. Chips will be used to assure accurate timing, you must wear a chip to be timed in the events. The course will be marked with a-frame signs and there are mile markers indicating the half marathon and full marathon miles.The City Of Trees Marathon Association Inc. is a non-profit 501(3)c organization that produces sporting events in the Boise Idaho area since our first race in 2002. Our goal is to provide quality running events that are tough, fun, and rewarding.We are a family business first and foremost, we have a few paid event staff, but our organization consists of mostly volunteers. We are passionate about giving the participant a home town feel to world class events. We aren’t some corporate entity, and don’t be surprised if the event staff, doesn’t personally congratulate you with acknowledgement of your accomplishments.We love our customers, the running community and the cities and towns we operate within.

The route of the COT Marathon in Boise, ID take runners on Warm Springs Ave and Harrison Blvd, two of Boise's most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. They weave around several parks and cross the Boise River. The courses finish by taking runners around Boise's historic Train Depot and down Capitol Blvd with our majestic Capitol building in view.

The course is mostly under the Fall canopy on the Boise Greenbelt. The Fall colors make a magnificent back drop for the flat, fast and beautiful course. The course travels through many Boise parks along the scenic Boise River.

There will be water stations located within miles 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, 19, 21, 23, and 24. Sports Drinks and other replenishments will be offered within miles 4, 9, 13, 18, 21, and 23. Gel will be offered at Mile 19. It’s always a wise decision to pack your own replenishments to ensure you have the packet when you need it.

The Host Hotel for the City Of Trees Marathon is the Spring Hill Suites Hotel, located about a block away from the Start/Finish Line at 424 E. Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Id, 83706. Reservations for the event should be made.
