Overview
The Cooperstown Triathlon, in it's 9th year. Sprint Triathlon & Aqua Bike for Individuals and Sprint Triathlon for Relay Teams of 2 or 3 people.New for 2019: Kids Triathlon.
Course details
This Sprint Triathlon begins with an 750m swim in beautiful Otsego Lake. It is followed by an 11 mile bike ride through the rolling hills and beautiful countryside of the surrounding community. The race finishes with a 3.1 mi run which takes place entirely within the borders of the park.Kids Triathlon:11 & Under: Swim – 100 Meters, Bike – 3 Miles, Run – 1 Mile.Ages 12 – 17: Swim – 200 Meters, Bike – 6 Miles, Run – 1 Mile
What's included
The start line is Glimmerglass State Park , 1527 County Highway 31 , Cooperstown, NY US 13326
Cooperstown is about an hour and half west of Albany along I-88. The route will be plentifully signposted as well for the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame (as it is also in Cooperstown), so look out for that if you start getting lost.

Do I need to bring anything else to the race? - Event sanctioning and insurance compliance require every participant of a USA Triathlon sanctioned event to be a member of USA Triathlon and to present a photo ID. If you provided an annual USAT member license number during registration you must SHOW proof of current membership and a photo ID in order to participate. If proof of current membership is unavailable then a one-day license must be purchased for $15.
