2020 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships
Overview
The Soča River and Bovec Region have been known as canoeing Eldorado for a long time. I am pleased that we will host Wildwater Canoeing European Championships and meet many top-level competitors, supporters of canoeing sport and admirers of beautiful Soča River. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable and that you will enjoy your stay and return to us over and over again.
Course details
One of Europe’s most beautiful and picturesque rivers, the Soča River, will once again become the centre of attention in canoeing. The course between Srpenica and Trnovo ob Soči, which hosted the ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Championships in 1991 and Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in 2013, is well known in canoeing. I proudly invite you to the competition we organise in cooperation with Bovec and Kobarid Municipalities between 14th and 18th May 2019.
What's included
The incredible nature will not be the only marker of the upcoming competition. We will do everything in our power to organise exciting, fair and most of all safe competition which will present the wildwater canoeing to the world as the sport of nature, pure joy and sport of champions. The latter will be your merit - valued competitors.
