Salmon La Sac Races

WHAT IS 57 YEARS OLD AND THE MOST FUN, EVER??? WASHINGTON KAYAK CLUB’S ANNUAL SALMON LA SAC Whitewater Races and weekend Gathering!! (aka: Bottoms-Up Regatta) Everyone is welcome; it’s not just for racers! So plan now to head to the Cle Elum River for the first weekend in June. The event is held at the Salmon la Sac campground (near Roslyn, in eastern Washington).

e need help to construct the slalom course on Friday and may need help Saturday morning if enough folks didn’t show on Friday. You’ll get river practice in early and grab a good campsite! Camping: The Salmon la Sac campground has SOME first-come, first-served sites available, but most can be reserved. Go to reserveamerica.com and select salmon la Sac Campground. Racers have reserved quite a number of spots already, so if you’re a small group, you may be able to join one of us that still have space in a double site already reserved.
