Overview
The marathon route aims to challenge runners across the 26.2 miles with breathtaking views of Dorset countryside. Taking Place on Sunday 27th May 2018. Its the perfect event to show off the beautiful Dorset countryside and keep running rural, White Star Runnings ethos.WSR also believe in free photos, once youve run 26.2 miles you dont want to buy a photo of you looking all hot and sweaty, so we employ our snappers to get a photo of you looking great in the race and pre and post event, we will share them on Facebook, Twitter Instagram and place them on our Flickr account for you. Obviously, if there is a pic you object to hair is a mess or bums too big, we will take it down.

What's included
The 2019 Dorchester Half Marathon will start in the beautiful Kingston Maurward College Grounds, run through historic Dorchester and the stunning Dorset countryside and local villages, before returning to the finish line and the athlete’s village at Kingston Maurward. Runners will take on the 13.1miles on a closed road course, whilst running through some picture perfect scenery. And whilst it isn’t a flat course it is certainly less hilly than previous versions with only 600 ft of uphill throughout the entire route.
