Uncorked 5k

The race is located in the heart of the Applegate Wine Country in Southern Oregon.Ted & Mary along with Greg & Kara of Wooldridge Creek Winery welcome you to their family vineyard. Relax post-race with a glass of wine, overlooking the majestic views.Begin your magical journey weaving through the ripe vineyards. The longer distance runs begin with a unique climb up to a viewpoint overlooking the vineyard and Applegate Valley. The 24K will provide a tour of the Enchanted Forest. The 12K forgoes the complete tour, but quickly drops after the climb and winds its way back to the winery. This is a trail run in the true sense of the word, carry 1 water bottle . Enjoy nature and each other in this shared endeavor.

Not your father’s 12K or 24K. Surely to be your slowest! You will have a PR, just not in the way you typically think of one. We have incorporated a new section of trail, beginning at the one mile mark that will climb up to a beautiful viewpoint high above the Applegate Valley and surrounding vineyard. Make sure you look back to capture the beauty. The race continues on, down into the Enchanted Forest, with the 24k going deep into the Forest, while the 12k swings back to Wooldridge Creek Winery(be sure to carry 1 water bottle). The 5K tours the vineyards. The kids-run has the same starts/finish as the big kids and tours the lower vineyard for 1k.

Costumes appreciated, applauded and encouraged…just not awarded this year ? Runner awards 3 deep for female and males in all 3 distances. All kids-run participants will receive a Dutch Brother swag bag!
