Fort Worth Marathon

Overview
The Fort Worth Marathon is a non-profit organization that organizes an annual Marathon and other running event to raise funds for programs that promote exercise and health in the Fort Worth, Texas community and primarily in the public school systems.The course is fast and flat, beginning at Panther Island Pavilion heading South West along the Trinity Trails.Turn around in Benbrook and Ends at Panther Island Pavilion.
Course details
Concrete trail for 22 miles, 4 miles of street asphalt. There is an optional 10 miles of crushed limestone in the middle. The course is out and back. Beginning at Panther Island Pavilion heading South West along the Trinity Trails. Turn around in Benbrook and Ends at Panther Island Pavilion.
What's included
Course is certified by the USA Track and Fieldand can be used to Qualify for the Boston Marathon.
Parking is at the Start/Finish line.
You can leave your gear in your car and check your key before the race. There is also bag drop at mile 5 marker.
Located every 1 – 1 ¼ mile. Water and G2 Lemon-Lime available.

All finishers receive medals (belt buckles). 4 finishers with prize money of $1,000, $750, and $500 (x2)
