Overview
No start order, no worries! The Fox Superflow is the series for those who are keen to take on an endurance challenge of a different kind! Riders of all ages and many different XC or gravity backgrounds race on super-flowy singletrails for fun or are hunting down those seconds for the win.Supported by Events ACT, Round 2 will take you to Stromlo Forest Park with one of the most popular Rocky Trail race tracks promising a wide variety of trails it will make your mountain bikers hearts skip a beat! This is a standalone event and you can collect points for the series ranking!
Course details
Race on ‘super-flowy’ singletrails for fun or hunt down those seconds for the win. Within a set timing window you complete a set of timed race stages, which are predominantly downhill – the faster you go, the more challenging it gets! No big jumps or drop-offs though and you ride to the starts untimed – at your pace!
What's included
Saturdayall day Free practice: tracks are marked but there are no marshalls in place.Sunday8 am – 9 am Registration open for Superflow9 am Rider briefing at event centre9 am – 10.30 am Practice10.30 am – 4 pm Race runs – you can choose the order in which you do your race runs.2 or 3 tracks (TBC) – 1 run on each track – you get up to 5 runs per track and the fastest counts. U13 and U15 need to clock in 1 run per track as well but also get multiple runs.4 pm Last Race Run4.30 pm est. Ceremony
We love the ever-expanding and evolving trail network and putting together our favourite trail combinations for our events, always inspired by input from our local racers! You can camp at the Stromlo car park and event centre on the Saturday night.Destination: CanberraStromlo Forest Park is located just 15 minutes outside the City Centre of Canberra and why not make it a weekend getaway to the Capital? Does the price include liftpass?Yes, it includes Sunday’s liftpass.Can I practice the track beforehand?Yes you can. The track is open and on Friday and Saturday all racers can get a discounted lift ticket. You can purchase Friday’s ticket at the Thredbo sports shop and Saturday’s when registering online.I heard there is a downhill race on the same weekend – can I enter both?Absolutely! We are running the RedAss Downhill on the same weekend so the place will be buzzing with gravity MTBing all weekend. You can purchase the extra entry as an add-on during the registration process.Do I need a full face helmet to race the Flow track?No you don’t, a regular helmet is sufficient. However you do need a full face helmet for the DH track.
