Overview
What could be better than a little bit of running before a good time with your friends? With the choice of 5K or 10K runs you'll breeze through the vineyards before refreshing yourself with the 'wine waddle'. All topped off with some live music as the day comes to an end.

What's included
The course is largely a trail through the vineyard so expect off-road conditions which could become muddy (weather depending). Depending on the harvests you may be diverted around certain areas of the vineyard. Please wear appropriate footwear weather depending. The 10K course will be 2 laps of the 5K course
WaiverAll participants must read and sign the Waiver form online (when registering for the event on “Active Network”) and bring it with them on the day of the – NO WAIVER, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS!You must have a copy of your confirmation ticket or proof of purchase with you to check-in. An email copy on your phone is accepted. Present your confirmation email with your ID and a signed race waiver to the registration team to get your wristbandArrival Please aim to arrive no later than 1:00pm as this is one hour before the event starts at 2:00pm. This will allow you to check in and get warmed up with plenty of time to spare!Your event will finish at 6:30pm
Parking is available on all our sites however, will cost $5 and is payable by cash only. You will be directed by stewards within the parking area

Can I bring food and drink? No food or drink can be brought to any event however, wineries will provide at a cost. Please contact the race organiser if you have any specific dietry requirements. Water is the only liquid allowed onto the site so you can stay hydrated. Is there a bag drop? There is not a bag drop however, your car will be close to the start line and there will be a place to put your car keys etc. The event organiser cannot accept responsibility for any lost items. Is smoking allowed? No smoking within the entertainment area, however, there will be designated smoking areas where smoking is permitted. What are prohibited items?• All alcohol – The Grapest 5K Run is a licensed event, and alcohol will be available for purchase at all venues.• Non-alcoholic drinks including juice, soft drinks, sports drinks, and water unless they are in sealed plastic bottles up to 1.5L in size.• Metal cutlery, including cheese knives.• Selfie and Go Pro sticks.• Aerosols, sunshades, tents and tables.• Umbrellas, even if it’s raining. Bring good quality raincoats and gumboots instead.• Glass – this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass.• Pets (other than guide dogs).There will be a security check at the gate and prohibited items will be confiscated.Centaur Outdoor Events does not take any responsibility for confiscated items.
