Grapest 5k Fun Run – TAS

There's no race quite like the Grapest 5K run. Enjoy an evening 5km or 10km run through the wineries of the Hunter Valley, and re-hydrate and cool down after with the wine tasting 1km Waddle. A great evening to enjoy with friends, topped off with live entertainment as the sun goes down.

The course is off-road, along dusty and sometimes muddy tracks depending on the weather. Depending on the independent harvesting requirements of each vineyards, you may or may not be permitted to run/walk through the vines. If not, you'll be directed to the exterior ground surrounding the vines and vineyard property. The 10km course is two laps of the 5km distance.

You can download this form from the website. Please note, if you fail to bring this with you, you will be unable to participate. Please bring confirmation of ticket or proof of purchase with you, along with your ID. You will then be given a wristband to confirm you have been registered on the day.

Food & DrinkWe do not allow your to bring your own food to our events. Wineries provide food and drinks for you to purchase. We try our best to cater to all dietary needs, however we understand this is not always possible. Should this be the case, and you feel you need to bring your own food, please notifiy a member of staff at check-in. Bag DropThere is no bag drop for this event. Parking is close to the start line, so it is suggested you lock your possessions in your vehicle. There will be an envelope drop area where you can seal your driver's licence and car keys should you not wish to carry them with you on the route. This will be guarded but the organisers will not accept responsibility for any lost personal items.Can I smoke?Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas at every venue. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the entertainment area. Where is lost property?If you lose a personal item, report to the merchandise marquee. At the end of the evening, all remaining lost items will be disposed of due to the logistical difficulty of managing large amounts of lost property. Can I bring an esky into the event?Eskies are permitted, but they must only contain ice and no other beverages or food.What are prohibited items?Alcohol is prohibited, but will be available to purchaseNon-alcoholic drinks including juice, soft drinks, sports drinks, and water unless they are in sealed plastic bottles up to 1.5L in size.Metal cutlery, including cheese knives.Selfie and Go Pro sticks.Aerosols, sunshades, tents and tables.Umbrellas, even if it’s raining.
