Hardy's McLaren Vale Half Marathon

This is SARRC's final half marathon of the year is held. Those people who have completed the Clare Valley and Greenbelt half marathons have the opportunity to receive the inaugural "Triple Crown Medal" for completing all three half marathons in the calendar year. This is in addition to the medal handed out for all 21.1km finishers.McLaren Vale is one of South Australia's best treasures, just 45 minutes from the city. The half marathon course takes in the Shiraz Trail between McLaren Vale and Willunga, with a loop along the rail trail between McLaren Vale and Seaford. The 10km and 5km courses are a fast dash towards Willunga and back.As well as the half marathon, there's a 10km and a 5km race which are a fast dsah towards Willunga and back.McLaren Vale is just one hours South of Adelaide, so you can drive down in the morning. But if you would like to make a weekend of it, the area provides a wide variety of accommodation. Book early though as it does get busy.

The 21km course leaves the Hardy's winery and heads left for 3.5km before turning back on itself. Runners then come back through the winery head South down to Willunga before turning and heading back to finish at the winery.

Parking is available on-site.

A bag drop marquee will be available to store your gear bag while you run.

Drink stations every 5km. Fruit and water at the finish.

Finishers Medals for all 21.1km finishers. Placegetter trophies for the first three male and female runners. Random draw prizes
