What's included
Three Spectacular Routes You have the choice of a 96, 64 or 32 mile course. Hertfordshire’s famed changes in elevation will certainly keep you on your toes no matter what route you choose. The medium and long routes follow spectacular countryside, through villages such as Dane End, Ardeley, Gravely and St Pauls Walden. The 64 miles course goes up to Weston and breaks off from the Long route at Preson to return through the lanes of Codicote. The Long split heads out West towards Whipsnade Zoo (not quite making it to see the wallabies) out towards the chilterns and touches Buckinghamshire tasting some of the hills the area is renowned for before returning to meet the medium route via Studham and Harpenden. The medium and Long then have 18 miles to go at this feed stop, where they will head through Burnham Green, Tewin and then finally up through Essenden (and the hill) back to the event HQ.

We do our best to try and make sure your ride on the road runs as smoothly as possible by marking the roads clearly. If you find you have not seen a marker for a while, stop and consult your map, ask someone, or find a landmark and give us a call using the number provided on the day. Once you complete the ride, make sure you report back to one of our team at the finish line and hand back the timing chip. We’ll make sure your time is recorded. If you do not report back, you may be presumed lost and emergency services may be called.
