HogsBack Half Marathon

Overview
Set among the rolling hills of northwestern Connecticut near the border with Massachusetts, the Hogsback Half Marathon is described as a very fast and stunning course.The race takes place during the area’s peak fall foliage season. If you are looking for a PR, then this is the race for you!Along with the foliage, the Farmington Rivers and the People's State Forest provides ample scenic views for runners.
Course details
The 13.1-mile race takes runners from the starting line at the Goodwin Dam on Durst Road through the towns of Riverton, Pleasant Valley, Hartland and Colebrook, with ample views of the Farmington River and the nearby Peoples State Forest.
What's included
The course provides scenic views of the Farmington River and the People's State Forest.
Six water stations stocked with water and Gatorade Endurance; Huma gels will be available on course at miles 6 and 10.
Great post-race food including baked chicken, ziti, salad and desserts. Great post-race raffle prizes.
Custom finisher medals from Ashworth Awards. Top 3 overall male and female runners and 3 deep in 5 year age divisions (18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+)
