HVAR WINE RUN

Along the panoramic island race course there is a specialty – runners can enjoy excellent wine at the refreshment station next to the water provided. At the finish line there will be more wine waiting with an after party. All quality wines originate from the renowned local producer “Zlatan otok“.

Start at the main square, run the stairs up and on the trail to the fortress Španjola, pass through the fortress, descend through the woods until reaching the asphalt road, where the ascent begins up to the Napoleon Fortress (today’s Observatory). After reaching the Fortress the road begins to descend until the quarry. There across the field the run continues partly on the macadam road until reaching the bay of Pokojni dol. The last part leads you on the asphalt road next to the sea back to Hvar main square where the after party begins!
