Layton Marathon

Overview
On Hill Events was established in 2007 with our first race we did for someone else, called the Buffalo Duathlon. Since 2007 On Hill Events and its staff has race directed over 100 races. Every year On Hill Events has worked hard to increase its standards of excellence. We have trained hard with organizations like USA Triathlon and USA Track & Field to gain certifications like USAT Certified Race Directors and USATF approved club. Every time we do a race we learn better ways to serve you from better signage, bettter trained volunteers, better medals, better t-shirts and more. It is our goal to be the best race organization we can be. It is our hope to organize the best race possible for the best price.

We also strive to communicate better than any race company with Facebook updates, email race bags, and websites that are updated weekly. We know we can do more. If you see something within reason that we can do better please let us know. Realistic postive feedback can be rewarded with free race entries and more. We appreciate your feedback.
What's included
The Full Marathon course is very scenic. Starting at the Marina of Antelope Island runners run the Half Course out and back. This course starts out of the marina and heads West around a loop on Antelope Island. This loop connects back to Antelope Island Road and heads South to Garr Fielding Ranch. This route is primarily on the East side of the island overlooking Davis County and the Great Salt Lake to the East. This route is 100% paved but off the pavement you will see herds of Bison (Buffalo) and other wildlife like deer, coyote and more. Truly a breath taking route feeling like you are in the old frontier.
