Lima Half Marathon

The oldest half-marathon in South America, the Lima Half Marathon follows the chronological history of the city, starting in the historic Plaza Mayor and ending in the Circuito Mágico del Agua. Along the way, runners and spectators alike will be able to see various musical performances, circus acts and sports presentations.The race usually starts at 8:00am but you can warm up from 6:30am onwards. The overall gain in elevation is87m over the course of the marathon.

The race usually starts at 8:00am but you can warm up from 6:30am onwards. The overall gain in elevation is 87m over the course of the marathon. Flat ocean level trail. Age Limit: 18 years old for the Half Marathon and 13 years old for the 10K. Equipment Storage: Participants wishing to use the cloakroom service must leave their belongings (without valuables) at the stand of the PlazaMayor of Lima (Departure) and pick them up at the Magical Water Circuit of the Reserve Park (Arrival). The schedules are the following:In the Plaza Mayor of Lima.For the 10k from 05:40 hrs. until 06:40 hrs. and for the 21k, from 05:40 hrs. until 07:40 hrs.In the Magical Water Circuit of the Reserve Park.10k and 21k until 12:00 hrs. Timing: The control of the races will be in charge of qualified Technical Control Judges that will give the official results of the Event usingtime chip (B-tag), as established in the regulations of the IAAF International Association of Athletics Federations
