Luton Marathon

Overview
The Luton Marathon is a 3-lap, anti-clockwise race passing through Luton and the surrounding countryside. The Marathon starts in the centre of Luton town. It then snakes out to the A6 and near coutryside, passing the Pasque Hospice en route. Runners then pass through the village of Streatly. Leaving Streatly, the race then continues along country roads until, after a further 3-4 miles, passes back into Luton town and towards the start/finish line. This lap is repeated twice more.
Course details
Marshals will be on duty to show you where to park near the sports centre (Lea Manor Recreation Centre, Northwell Drive, Luton LU3 3TL). Drivers are advised that vehicles and their contents are left at the drivers risk and that the race organisers and other third parties will not be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever.
What's included
A baggage area is provided in the main sports hall but please do not leave any valuables. The race organisers will not take responsibility for any losses or damage incurred.
There are three water stations per lap, nine in total for the race, with water or Hi5 Sports Drink.
Your timing chip will be available for collection on race day from the sports centre. Please have your race number ready to claim your chip. No chip - no time will be recorded. Timing is gun to finish chip time. After crossing the finish line please do not re-cross the line as this will interfere with the recording. Return chips to the Sports Centre.
Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available at the Sports Centre.
