Manly Splash n Dash

It's time to get fit, focused and challenge yourself on Northern Beaches iconic golden sand with a fun festival atmosphere that only Manly can provide. The event will raise money for the Burdekin Association to support at risk children in the local community.

Manly Splash 2000:If you love the splash in but hate the dash in you can take on our 2 km ocean swim. Great for rookie swimmers looking to achieve a goal of swimming in the ocean, also challenging for the old sea dogs that want something new and exciting, that will challenge their skills, and if the conditions are right you’ll get to swim over Fairy Bowers beautiful reef.Manly Mile:The Manly Mile. 1.6km of pure golden sand to suit all the keen dashers out there. The course will follow the iconic beach from south to north and back again, a perfect start to the day for all softie lovers.Manly Splash N’ Dash:Whatever your ability, whatever your age, this is your chance to make your mark on the Northern Beaches beautiful stretch of sand. The 1 km run | 1 km swim | 1 km run is as suitable for newcomers as it is for seasoned athletes. You also have the option to do both Manly Splash n’ Dash & Manly Splash 2000. See combo for prices.Manly Junior Splash N’ Dash:Not wishing to leave anybody out, our Junior Splash n’ Dash is all about fun and participation as we see our stars of the future running and swimming around beautiful Bondi.Manly Duck Dash:Be a part of our hilarious novelty race. Guaranteed to have participants in stitches it’s perfect for all abilities and designed to encourage first timers into the ocean and be as entertaining and enjoyable for our spectators as it will be for the entrants. Every participant gets a free inflatable duck, set of flippers and 1st Male & 1st Female will each receive a cash prize!

Public Transport:Manly Beach provides great public transport options.Buses going to Manly depart from the Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Chatswood and most of the Northern Beaches every day. See the Sydney Buses Manly Information.Ferries leave approximately every half hour from Circular Quay (Wharf 3) and return at similar intervals. The trip takes 30 minutes.

Prize awarded for the most average time (male and female) in the Manly Splash n’ Dash distance.After your great achievement it’s time to relax and enjoy the camaraderie at the Manly Surf club.The team will be serving food and drinks from 10:30am.The presentation of prizes to all winners and place getters will also take place here.
