Marathon - Über innogy

In October, the Innogy Marathon "Around Lake Baldeney" will be held. As has been the case since its beginnings in 1963, organizing the innogy-sponsored event with almost 3,000 participants continues to be in the hands of the athletics department of TUSEM Essen.Be part of Germany's oldest, ongoing marathon! And if you do not want to lace up your running shoes yourself, the runners look forward to your support at the edge of the track!

Your valuables and your luggage can be deposited and deposited in a tent next to the grandstand at the Retattaturm. The luggage delivery is of course signposted. We handle your luggage with care - but we can not accept liability for lost items.

The feeding stations are located at a distance of about 5 kilometers along the route. Water, mineral drinks, tea, some coke and also banana pieces are available at the stands. In the finish area, there is also beer (pils and non-alcoholic Radler- and wheat beer).

All finishers who reach the finish by 3.30pm will receive a medal in the finish area. Results lists and online certificates will be posted on the evening of the event. You can print out your certificate.

We measure your time at the innogy marathon with the widely used champion chip. Our timekeeping service is Mika Timing from Bergisch Gladbach, mikatiming.de. You have the opportunity to enter your own chip number - or to borrow or buy a chip through us as the organizer.
