Sydenham River Race

Overview
With 7 km, 12 km and 15 km courses, the Sydenham River Canoe Race in southwestern Ontario has something for every level of paddler. The race is run in April by the St. Clair Conservation Authority and is used as fund raiser for the Conservation Authority.
Course details
The race is well attended with up to 80 canoes and kayaks participating in recent years. South of Alvinston and north of Bothwell, on the Mosside Line Road, 3km west of Nauvoo Road. 7 km: Recreational, Staff, V.I.P., Women and Touring Class (over 50)
What's included
12 km: Mixed, Junior (under 18 as of Jan 1st), Men’s Amateur and Kayak 16 km: C2 Men’s, C2 Mixed and Kayak. Registration is at the start of the course from 10 – 11 am. Race start at 11:20 am.
