Michigan Wine Trail Half Marathon

Want to run through wine country but can’t get to Napa? Now’s your chance with the Michigan Wine Trail Half Marathon & 5K, a challenging road course that passes several wineries in Michigan’s Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail.
Course details
The half marathon begins in Baroda Industrial Park, just south of downtown Baroda, Michigan. From there, half marathoners continue southeast along Hills Road for just under a mile before turning left onto Singer Lake Road. Here runners pass a vineyard and the first aid station around mile 2.After turning right onto East Lemon Creek Road, travelling between vineyards and two wineries: Lemon Creek Winery and Domaine Berrien Cellars. A right turn onto Burgoyne Road leads runners south past more grape vineyards and apple orchards, as well as the second aid station in front of Free Run Cellars. A right turn onto East Snow Road marks the approximate halfway point of the half marathon, and the course continues on East Snow Road for about a mile before another right turn onto Lauer Road.The course continues north on Lauer Road, passing Gravity Winery near mile 8.5, until reaching East Lemon Creek Road again. At this point, runners retrace their first several miles back to the finish line.
What's included
There will be no race day parking at the Start/Finish line area of the Baroda business park. The venue has one road and for runner safety, we will be parking approximately ¼ mile from the start. On race morning take 1st Street south to Church Street. Turn right on Church Street to 2nd Street and south to the grass parking area. Boy Scouts will be present to assist with parking.
Water and/or Gatorade will be available at six aid stations along the course. Gel will be available at aid station number 4 at 8.5 miles.
The course will remain open for 4 hours after the last participant crosses the starting line allowing for a pace of 18 min per mile to finish.
