Mighty Dog 5K/10K

The Mighty Dog Trail Runs are in their 5th year in 2019. The event is for walkers, runners, and their dogs! Back this year will be the addition of a Cani Cross Division for both 5K & 10K. We are excited to offer this event for athletes and their dogs and hope everyone has a fun time.

The Mighty Dog 5K/10K Run will start at 9 am at Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake SRA. Athletes and their dogs MUST run safely and without entangling other dogs. The course will have one aid station at the half way point for both walkers and their dogs. All Mighty Dog Runners and their Dogs will receive a Finisher Medal and Dog tag at the finish line. 10K athletes do two laps of the course (each lap is 5K).Aid stations will be located on the course at the half way point: mile 1.5 on each course, with the aid stations each serving cold water, FLUID electrolyte beverage, and Hammer energy gels for athletes as well as water for the dogs.
