Petersburg Halloween Half Marathon

Get those costumes ready! The Halloween Half Marathon Series is coming to Petersburg, VA! Halloween and Running is a match made in heaven!Costumes are optional, but a fun & memorable time is mandatory!We cannot guarantee that you will achieve your personal best time, but we will ensure that you have a good time! All finishers receive a signature Halloween themed medal. Our event is known for us its top notch medals!The Petersburg Halloween Half Marathon & 5K is an event that you do not want to miss! Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to join us. What makes this event unique?! It all starts with the city of Petersburg, Virginia, conveniently located just to the south of Richmond, and easily accessible by car or plane. The downtown area features buildings and architecture dating back to the Civil War era. The Start & Finish for both the Halloween Half Marathon & 5K will take place in the old towne area, offering a scenic backdrop for the event. Come run dressed in your favorite costume or come dressed in your normal running gear, you are guaranteed to have a great time.

With a different course then our Petersburg Half Marathon which takes place every April, this course will include the Old Towne Petersburg area and will route runners in the area of the Petersburg Sports Complex then back to the old towne via a different route so no boring “out and back”.

We will also have age group awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and overall top 3 Female & Male. All finishers in both the Half Marathon & 5K will receive a signature medal to commemorate your accomplishment and the event and an awesome shirt!
