Enjoy vistas of the Pacific Coast as you take a scenic tour of the spectacular Marin Headlands with views of San Francisco, Tiburon, the Golden Gate Bridge and California coastline. This PCTR classic-event begins and ends at Rodeo Beach. You’ll see historic abandoned military batteries reclaimed by nature. December is the end of the of the diurnal raptor season, with tens of thousands of raptors drawn to the area.Rodeo Beach Ultra is apart of the Pacific Coast Trail Runs, which provide the opportunity for runners to push further and find amazement in themselves by offering long distance running events on California's beautiful trails. Everything we do celebrates community, the environment and strength of the human spirit.

What's included
Triple Loop course that starts and ends at Rodeo Beach. Runners will run the 20 km loop, then the 10 km loop, then run the 20 km loop again.

We will provide a variety of fresh fruit, salty snacks, salted potatoes, PB&J sandwiches, salt tabs, sugary snacks, Clif Shot Bloks, electrolyte sports drink, Coke, and water. Runners in the 50km may leave a drop bag at the 30km aid station with personal needs. It is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations.
Placement Awards are given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall female and male finishers overall in each distance. Age group medallions are awarded to the female and male 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finisher in each ten-year age group for each distance. All distance runner finishers will receive a race logo and dated finisher medallion. Ultramarathon (50km) finishers will receive a custom event coaster.
There is a 9 hour time limit.
