Run In The Name Of Love

Run in the Name of Love is a unique event offering runners and walkers the opportunity to honor and pay tribute to the very special people in their lives.Participants will enjoy the charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea, its historic sites, the unparalleled natural beauty of the course (with views of sandy white beaches, the dramatic Pacific Ocean, Point Lobos, and Pebble Beach) and a memorable finish celebration.Plus, its on Fathers Day! Begin your celebration with exercise, challenge, and fun! Perhaps you would like to make this a meaningful run or walk by running in the name of your dad? Or register for our Father/Daughter, Father/Son division and run the 5k together!

PARKINGFree parking is available in the north-west corner lot of Sunset Center, Eighth Avenue, and San Carlos Street.Directions from Hwy 1 to Public Parking Lot (SW corner of Mission Street and Eighth Avenue).From Highway 1, take Ocean Avenue west to Junipero Street. Turn left on Junipero and go two blocks. Turn right on Eighth Avenue and go one block. The paid Public Parking lot will be on your left.Additional parking is available along side streets.  Cars parked in the two-hour parking spots will not be marked until 9:00 AM and not ticketed until after 11:00 AM.

AID STATIONOne aid station with water available will be located at River Beach, an approximately half way through the course. Porta Potties will be located at the Start and Finish and two facilities are available along the course.REMEMBER:  Transportation back to the start is not provided. Park in a location that is most suitable for your needs or arranges for a pick-up on San Antonio street, one block east of the finish line.
