River Paddle Festival

Overview
A whitewater kayaking festival that takes place in Courtenay, BC, on the famed Puntledge river. Playboating, Creeking and just good old river running. Spread the word and look forward to having a good time out here again this year.
Course details
Adult - $45, Teen - $25, Local - $25 (with ID) VIWPS CKBC Membership (Mandatory for Paddlers): $15 per person, $30 per Family Fee Includes Camping, Shuttles, Insurance for the event, 1 Free Raffle Ticket, Entertainment The campsite is conveniently located at the take-out of the river providing easy access to do several laps in the day. Shuttles will be provided.
What's included
River levels: Saturday 60 cms – 9am - 1pm 85 cms 1pm – 5pm Sunday 85 cms 9am – 1pm 110cms 1pm - 5pm Saturday Events Guided runs on the Middle Puntledge, must have a solid roll for putting in at the Browns Confluence Shuttles will start at 9am and continue till the late afternoon.. 4pm Early in the Evening there will be games, Throwbag Contest will commence at 530pm, followed by the raffle draw, In the evening Knacker's Yard will be playing. KNACKER’S YARD is a six-piece Celtic traditional folk band with members from Victoria, Saanich, Metchosin and Sooke, British Columbia. Formed in Victoria in the spring of 2012, the original intent was, and still is, to perform traditional Celtic and English folk songs, intrumentals and ballads dating from the 1600’s up to the 1960’s. Sunday Events Shuttles start at 9am..ish run till 3pm Paddle lots, surf lots, play lots.
