Kawartha Paddle Quest

Overview
OMCKRA members voted the race as Race of the Year in 2018! Peterborough will be the host for the annual “Kawartha River Quest”, home of the Canadian Canoe Museum and the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world! With hotels and campgrounds within a short paddle to the start/finish - this is truly a “leave the car behind and paddle race!”
Course details
Distances include: 50Km. (8 portages) from Stoney Lake, through Lakefield, down the Trent to the finish at Little Lake in Peterborough 9Km. (4 portages) Starting in the heart of Peterborough ON – Racers will start at Little Lake and then head up the Trent Canal, turn around just before the Trent University for a down river paddle back to the finish at Little Lake/ Beavermead Park.

2.2Km. Around the Little Lake Fountain Family Fun Race Race Categories - C2, C1, K1 and SUPs All paddlers will get swag, BBQ and something to wet their whistles. Check our website and facebook pages in January for further details to come.
