Tampa International Airport 7th Annual 5K on the Runway event

Come and join the fun Saturday, April 13th for the 7th annual Tampa International Airport's 5K on the Runway....where wheels up meets soles down! Not in Tampa? Sign up for our Virtual 5K.  You pick the path you run and run when it's convenient for you.  We will mail you an awesome TPA 5K shirt with our new finisher medal at the end of April.  This event, like no other in the Tampa Bay area, gives participants the rare opportunity to run on the airport's Runway 10-28.  The run benefits United Way Suncoast, an organization that supports community outreach programs and provides direct and significant impact to improve the lives of thousands of people in the Tampa Bay area.  Race Course Runway 10-28:  The perfect platform for first timers and experienced athletes to reach their personal bests.  5K of wide open runway!  Free Parking Gates open at 6:00am. Free parking will be available only in designated areas of Hillsborough Community College, located at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd., Tampa, FL 33614.  There will be signs and Event Staff to guide you to the race site.  Awards This will be a chip timed event although awards will be based on gun time.
