Overview
The Lemur Loop is an exciting new event concept which brings team tactics into play for up to 12 hours of endurance trail running, also includes a 10k trail race which incorporates a twist on the traditional club competition.
Course details
This is a timed 10k trail run and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers.
What's included
The first 10K loop will be for all entrants, including the 12 hour individual runners and ALL team members. The finish times from the timed 10K will count towards the Inter Club Competition. This will be awarded to the club with the lowest average (mean) run time. There is no limit to the number of club runners, however, club affiliation must be advised at the time of entering and finalised by the 14th of November 2019.
The event is being held at Cricket St Thomas, Chard TA20 4DE9:00 am - 10K START9:00 am - 12 Hour Loop START
Cricket St. Thomas is about three hours drive southeast of London, and only an hour and a half south of Bristol along the M5.
Volunteers are needed to support the event build up, registration, the athlete functions and a wide variety of support on race day. Head over to the Immortal site to volunteer!
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:Male and Female Individual Male, Female and Mixed Pairs Male, Female and Mixed Team of 3 Male, Female and Mixed Team of 4 Male, Female and Mixed Team of 5 Male, Female and Mixed Team of 6 Most loops completed by any runner, Male and FemaleRules:The 12 hour endurance event is for solo runners and teams of up to 6. The aim is to complete the most loops in your individual prize category, listed below. This is not a relay and once the first loop (the timed 10k) has been completed, runners can start a new loop at any time during the event. This means that teams of 6 could have all 6 runners out on the course at the same time.
