There are lots of Half, Full & Ultra Marathons but there is only one QUADRATHON, a festival of running that goes way beyond the run itself, walkers, runners, coastal scenery, lapping waves, camaraderie, hospitality and medals to dream for are only a few of the reasons why youd want to register for this iconic and friendliest of event. The stunning location is surpassed only by the camaraderie and hospitality that is the hallmark of the Quadrathon, and has participants returning year after year. Chose a half or full marathon a day for 4 days, or theHero Ultra - 105 miles over 26 hours. 16-19 August.
The 2019 Quadrathon course will be same as 2018 course i.e. Anti clockwise around Inishowen and starting and finishing in Moville. A separate route each day – travelling over 104.8 mile of coastal roads around Inishowen 100 / Wild Atlantic Way scenic route. The routes are a mass of beautiful scenery and dotted with historical landmarks and small friendly towns and villages. The perfectly balanced choice of course each day and our added hospitality and care for runners are what make this event so Unique and a ell earned reputation of the “best of its kind in Ireland or Europe“, not our words but those of past participants testimonials which are indisputably the “proof of the pudding”.
