Overview
Salt Life proudly announces the Carolina Pro-Am to be held on April 19-20, 2020 at Wrightsville Beach, NC. The sixth annual SUP Surf event brings together the top amateurs and the world’s best sup surfers to North Carolina and Wrightsville Beach. This contest will serve as an APP World Tour Qualifying event promoted by the World Paddle Association (WPA). More detailed information to be announced. Course details
Though paddling participation is rising, there is significant growth potential among minorities, which are underrepresented in the sport.
What's included
In 2014, paddling participants made 215.8 million annual outings — in kayaks, rafts, canoes and stand up paddle boards. Paddlers made an average of 7 outings each, with kayakers making the most outings and stand up paddlers making the least.
