Tromsø Mountain Challenge

Late August, Tromsø Mountain Ultra 50km and HalvUltra 25km. Join TMU50 and get an experience of beautiful nature just outside the city.We are opening for 200 place on ultra50km race. The race starts in Snarbyeidet and goes over the mountains and finish at Tromsø Camping in the Valley of Tromsdalen. In addition to the 50km we also offer HalvUltra25km that starts and finish at Tromsø Camping in Tromsdalen.

Tromsø Mountain Ultra 50K (+ 1700m) starts at Snarbyeidet. The Half Ultra is a 25 kilometer long terrain race, offering beautiful scenery in Tromsø.The start and finish of the race is in Tromsdalen, running a slope towardsDjupdalen, Bønntuva, Fjellheisen and Svarthammeren.This is the same as the last part of Tromsø Mountain Ultra.

You will experince a great scenery during the race, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Age limit to take part of the race is 18 years.

We give prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd female and men.

Ultra cutoff time is 9 hours. Runners have to pass the checkpoint Tromsdalselva (31,6Km) within 5 hrs. 30 min. Half ultra cut off time is 6 hours.

The organizer will set up bus service from Tromsø Camping in Tromsdalen to Snarbyeidet for the Ultra 50K runners. Departure 07:50. You may leave clothes in a bag in the bus, and collect them at the finish line.
