Valles Caldera Runs

These popular runs take place on dirt roads and trails in the spectacular Valles Caldera National Preserve. The runs have aid stations every 2-3 miles with water, sports drinks, and other refreshments. All entrants receive a t-shirt. Awards will be given to top three finishers in each 10-year age group.

The races start at the Banco Bonita Staging Area, Valles Caldera National Preserve. The marathon will start at 7:30am, the half marathon will start at 8:30am and the 10k will start at 9am.

Volunteers are needed at the start/finish area and at aid stations on the course. Contact the race director, Frank Cherne, for information on volunteering or with any questions about the races.
