Waterside Half Marathon

Overview
The 37th Waterside Half Marathon returns to the city on Sunday 1st September. Starting in Ebrington Square, the route will once again take runners across the river to the cityside, showcasing our parks, greenways and bridges before finishing at St Columbs Park. The 2018 race will also host the NI & Ulster Half Marathon Championship

BUS TRANSPORTLeg 2 Runners Bus leaves Top of St Columb’s Road at 9.45am Sharp Leg 3 Runners, Bus Leaves Foyle Fold at 10.20am SharpRETURN TRANSPORTLeg 1 Finishers, Last Pick up from Gransha leaves 11am SharpLeg 2 Finishers, Last pick up from Sainsbury’s leaves 12noon SharpThe above pick up times are based on the longest time taken for a relay (3hrs) please note and make alternative arrangements for pick up if not suitable.

1.Where and when can I collect my race pack?Race packs will be available for collection from the Foyle Arena during the following times:Friday 31st August: 12noon – 8pmSaturday 1st September: 10.00am – 4.00pm 2.Where are the relay changeover points?The Relay Changeover Points are atGransha Roundabout at 5 miles.Cycle path next to KFC / Pure Gym at circa 9 miles. 3.I am travelling to Derry for the race and unable to collect my race pack on Friday or Saturday, can I pick it up that morning?Participants traveling to the event can collect race packs on the morning of the event Sunday 2nd September from 8.00am.
