ZOOMA Cape Cod Half Marathon

Quaint fishing villages, kitschy tourist traps and genteel towns – the Cape has many faces. Each attracts a different crowd. Families seeking calm waters perfect for little tykes favor Cape Cod Bay on the peninsula's quieter north side. College students looking to play hard in the day and let loose after the sun goes down set out for Falmouth or Wellfleet. This will be the backdrop of the ZOOMA Cape Cod Half Marathon!!One of the ZOOMA women’s-themed half marathon events that draws thousands of runners out to run the streets of cities like Annapolis and Florida each year, the ZOOMA Cape Cod Half Marathon & 10K makes its annual running in the early fall of this year, along an out-and-back course during the off-peak season, when the crowds are largely gone.

Runners will start and finish the out-and-back course for the race at the newly renovated Sea Crest Beach Hotel, which lies just a stone’s throw from both the waves rolling in along the beaches here as well as the quaint, cottage-lined streets of the nearby villages of West Falmouth, North Falmouth, Woods Hole and Falmouth itself, whose history dates all the way back to the late 1600s and which today serves as one of the main ferry departure points to Martha’s Vineyard.

Half Marathon, Relay and 10K participants will have access to bag check at the start of the race.

Awards will be given for overall race winners plus top three finishers in each age group.
